What Are Local Access Numbers?

A local access number is a specific local number given by VoIP vendors to provide inexpensive international calling. The local access numbers used by Talk Home allows users to make cheap international calls worldwide.

 

Why do I need a local access number?


The local access number assigned to you (based on your locality) from the Talk Home App allows user to make crystal clear calls without the need of internet. This means you are never away from home since you can make cheap international calls anywhere, anytime.


In order to call using a local access number, follow these simple steps: 


  1. Launch Talk Home App from your device.
  2. Tap the   icon on the top right corner of your screen.
  3. Select 'Settings' from this menu.
  4. Under Call Settings, you will find two options to choose from, ‘Local Access Number’ and ‘Internet’. 
  5. Choose the Local Access Number option.




This will allow you to connect your calls through our local access number rather than the internet. You can find your assigned local access number shown on the Settings page of the app.
