Can I Access My Contact in Talk Home App?

Since the Talk Home App is an international calling platform, it uses access to your contacts to function optimally.


If you are using the app for the first time, you must sign up for your account. If you already have an account, you will have to log in. Once you log in to the app, it will ask for your permission to access your contacts. To ensure proper functionality, you are required to allow this permission for the app.


Once permission is allowed, your contact list will be synced and appear in your app.


To access your contacts, press the Call icon button on the home screen.  This takes you to the call homepage, where you can select recent contacts or dial a number from the keypad.


If you go over to the contacts section, you will see all your contacts within the app, through which you can choose the one you wish to call and connect with them.


How to Change Permission Settings?


If you have denied permission for the app to access your contacts, or you need to change the permissions status of the app, you can do it from your phone settings.


To Change Permission Settings on Android


> Open Phone Settings 

> Go to Apps 

> Search for Talk Home 

> Go to App Permissions 

> Select Contacts 

> Choose Either ‘Allow’ or ‘Deny’ As Required. 

 

To Change Permission Settings on IOS

 

> Open Phone Settings 

> Scroll down To Talk Home App 

> Toggle Contacts Permission Either ‘On’ or ‘Off’ As Required. 


How to Identify if a Contact is Talk Home User or Not?


Within the App, a Talk Home App tag icon will appear next to your contacts showing you that they are also a Talk Home App user. 

 

The Benefit of Contact Sync


Syncing your contacts with the app allows you greater convenience in calling, as all your contacts appear in the app list for you to choose from. It reduces the processing time and will enable you to check which of your contacts currently use Talk Home App. 

Also, the app will not function if you do not sync your contacts.
